What traders ask us before they move

Built for futures, funded & crypto traders

Generic visa agents don’t understand prop-firm payouts, funded accounts, crypto wallets, or gold trading income. We do — and we match you to the visa that legally covers it.

One honest trader visa recommendation

We look at how you trade, where your income comes from, and how long you want to stay — then tell you the correct KITAS, not the easiest one to sell you.

Bali & Jakarta trader lifestyle, done properly

From villa leases in Canggu and Ubud to a registered trading or mentorship business in Jakarta, we connect your visa to how you’ll actually live and trade.

Best visa for traders in Indonesia

Futures, funded, crypto & gold traders — here's the visa that legally fits your trading income

Indonesia’s visa rules changed significantly over the last two years. Here’s the current picture for traders, in plain language — no jargon.

Funded & prop-firm traders

E33G Remote Trader / Remote Worker KITAS

For futures traders, funded traders, and prop-firm traders paid by a broker, prop firm, or platform outside Indonesia. Covers trading, crypto, and gold income earned abroad while you live in Bali or Jakarta.

Testing Bali as a trader

B211A Visit Visa

The easiest entry point for traders who aren’t ready to commit long-term. Good for a first few months trading from Bali — not a legal basis for running a local trading business.

Long-term trader & investor

Second Home Visa

For traders and crypto investors who want years in Indonesia without working locally — often paired with a qualifying villa purchase in Bali.

Trading mentorship / signals business

Investor KITAS (PT PMA)

The route for traders who want to sell mentorship, signals, or B2B trading education to Indonesian or international clients, hire staff, and build a registered brand in Bali or Jakarta.

Employed by a local firm

Work KITAS (E23)

For traders or analysts employed directly by an Indonesian-registered trading, fintech, or brokerage firm, sponsored by that employer.

Not sure which one fits your trading income?

That's what the free call is for

Most traders qualify for more than one option. We’ll tell you exactly which visa matches how you trade — futures, funded accounts, crypto, or gold — and how long you want to stay.

Selling trading mentorship, signals, or B2B services

Want to start a trading business in Bali or Jakarta? Your visa decision comes first.

Selling a mentorship program, a signals service, or a B2B trading/fintech offer from Indonesia isn’t the same as trading your own account remotely — and it isn’t optional to get right, since it determines whether you can legally invoice, hire, and bank in-country.

01

Set up a PT PMA

A foreign-owned company structure that lets you legally sell trading mentorship, signals, or B2B services to local and international clients under an Indonesian entity.

02

Match your KBLI business classification

Your activity — trading education, mentorship, consulting, fintech services — needs the correct license category before you can operate legally in Bali or Jakarta.

03

Convert to an Investor KITAS

Once your company exists, this becomes your legal basis to live in Indonesia and run your trading business, mentorship program, or signals brand day to day.

04

Plan your banking and tax position

Local company income from mentorship or B2B trading services is taxed differently from foreign trading income — worth mapping out before you commit, not after.

Good fits for this path

Trader lifestyle, not tourist life

Living and trading well in Bali means getting the paperwork right first

A villa lease or a trading desk setup means little if your visa doesn’t match your trading income, or your mentorship business isn’t registered to operate here. We connect the two so your Bali or Jakarta trader lifestyle and your legal status actually line up.

Trader questions, answered

Before you book the call

What is the best visa for a futures or funded trader moving to Bali?

It depends on your income source. Funded traders and futures traders paid by a prop firm or broker outside Indonesia typically use the E33G Remote Worker / Remote Trader KITAS. Traders settling for years without a local business often use the Second Home Visa. If you’ll run a trading mentorship or signals business in Indonesia, an Investor KITAS tied to a PT PMA is usually the fit.

Yes. As long as your trading income comes from platforms, exchanges, or brokers outside Indonesia, the E33G Remote Worker KITAS legally covers you to live and trade from Bali, Jakarta, or anywhere in Indonesia.

Yes, but it requires a PT PMA (foreign-owned company) and an Investor KITAS if you want to legally invoice Indonesian clients, hire local staff, or build a registered mentorship or B2B trading brand in-country.

Foreigners can’t hold freehold land, but long-term leasehold arrangements, Hak Pakai (right-of-use) titles, and PT PMA-held property are all workable paths — often paired with the Second Home Visa for traders settling long term.

Most single-entry visa approvals arrive in one to two weeks, with the physical KITAS card and reporting steps following after you land. Investor and Second Home applications generally take longer because of the financial documentation involved.

It depends on your visa, where your trading income is sourced, and how many days you spend in Indonesia in a rolling 12-month period. This is worth mapping out with us before you apply, not after.
